What does the flat-rate system involve?
It involves a different way of billing consultations. As a patient, you sign a contract with the medical centre and your health insurance, and you will then benefit from free general medicine and nursing care with us. The switch to a flat rate will take place during the second half of 2022.
How does the flat-rate system work?
Your medical record is managed by the medical centre. Registering with a medical centre does not change anything regarding the reimbursement of consultations with specialist doctors (paediatricians, gynaecologists, etc.), hospitalisations, medications, etc. As before, your health insurance will reimburse the costs of these treatments. Thanks to this system, general medicine consultations and nursing care (including home care) will now be entirely free for you. The only condition is to be up to date with your health insurance and to be registered with us.
Important:
Please note that in the event of a consultation with a general practitioner or an external nursing service without prior agreement with the Gesundheitszentrum Rotenbergplatz, the costs of these services will be your responsibility. This means that if you seek medical or nursing services outside our centre without prior coordination, you will have to bear the expenses yourself. It’s essential to ensure that all your consultations and treatments are aligned with our centre’s policies and agreements to fully benefit from the flat-rate system.
